The Seminar was arranged for a group of 18 teachers, most of them from Russia (only one was from Belarus). The group also included four professors who author and compile textbooks for Russian schools.
This was the first group of Russian-speaking educators to visit the new History Museum.
The Seminar program included more practical activities. A discussion between Seminar participants and teachers from the Yad Vashem International School on the objectives and methods of teaching the Shoah (part of the Methods and Theory section) elicited a very positive response from participants.
